Veteran actor Sudesh Berry, who has been playing villain Teerath Singh (Sirji), in Star Bharat’s popular show Musakaanhas decided to quit the show. The reason being that he is unhappy with the way his character is shaping up in the show.

The actor confirmed his exit from the show with Bombay Times. He shared, “We all know that when it comes to daily soaps, scripts often don’t have head or tail… but I do have a head! I started my career on the small screen around the same time when superstars like Shah Rukh Khan started their career on television. So, if I am commenting on the scripts it must mean something, because I have years of experience behind me. I have never run after money and have always believed in letting my work speak. My work has always struck a chord with the audience. But, nowadays, things have changed so much. I have never believed in being a part of the rat race. If something has not worked for me, I have always thought of moving on and doing something different.”

On asking whether his track will end overnight, Sudesh replies, “All I can say is that my character will just vanish when there is a blast at a kotha Rest, I can sum up my journey with this popular sher, ‘Aur bhi dukh hain zamane mein mohabbat ke siwa.”

It is being said that actor Deepraj Rana will be the new antagonist in the show. Nonetheless, we will miss Sudesh Berry’s natural flamboyance. Comment below if you will miss Sudesh Berry in the show.
