Colors’ social drama Shakti focuses on the social and personal life of a transgender. Having gained critical acclaim for its unique concept and performances, Shakti is one of the few shows on Television which deals with gender issues. Now, the show is set to take a generation leap and the lead actors have decided to quit the show. While Vivian Dsena has already made an exit, Rubina Diliak might soon leave the show.
In the on-going track, Saumya (Rubina Diliak) slipped into a coma after she took a bullet to save her transgender daughter from Harak Singh. The latest information suggests that the makers are keen on bringing two characters back on the show. Actor Ayub Khan and Mamta Luthra who played Saumya’s father and grandmother respectively will be back on the show. Their entry will spice up the drama and make the plot more exciting.
