There is supposedly going to be a 12 year leap in ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ in the month of October.

Sony TV show Pehredaar Piya Ki has been in the news for all the wrong reasons since the very start. It all started with the promo and has continued ever since till the current time.

It was only a couple of weeks back that the news about the show introducing a leap in order to get rid of all the backlash made the rounds, and now, news has surfaced that the leap was pre-planned and was to happen since the very beginning.

The show will supposedly have a 12-year leap, after which the grown up Ratan (yet to be finalised) will be shown returning from overseas post finishing his studies.

We contacted Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar about the same, and she said, “See I am not the writer so I am not really the right person to talk about it. Whether the leap is happening or not, it does not affect me or my take towards the show. However. I was told long back then that we’ll not be working with the kid for too long so a leap was a given.”

We have already established the relation between Diya and Ratan and so it is the right time to introduce a leap anytime soon. When I took up the show, it was meant to happen after 3 months. In fact, we had also told Afaan’s parents about the same. But right now, nothing is happening as we haven’t been informed about it.”

Well, whatever the case might be, a leap might turn to be a saving grace for the show. What do you think about it? Leave your comments below.
