Not many placed their bets on Star Plus’ now-popular show, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala when it came on-air. However, the next thing we know hat all those people who doubted the same were wronged entirely with the massive success of the show. The Aakriti Sharma-Mohit Malik-Anjali Anand starrer recently completed over a year of runtime and continues to run stronger than ever.
And it seems the producers want to make the most of this success expanding the Kullfi Kumarr universe. According to recent reports, the show is all set to have a spin-off soon.
Yes. That’s right. It is being said that the spin-off will have protagonists in the form of two grown-up girls who would be as different as chalk and cheese in behavior and attitude. The trend of having spin-off shows began on Indian TV a while ago but has picked up only a couple of years ago owing to the mammoth success of Kundali Bhagya and Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke.
The work for the spin-off has seemingly already begun and the main plotline is being worked upon.
