Anything isn’t complete until we’ve had a good laugh about it, isn’t it? Similarly, a sum up of the last year will remain incomplete until we list out the comedy shows for 2016. So up next, we have a list of shows that have undoubtedly succeeded at making us hold our stomachs and laugh!

#1. The Kapil Sharma Show : Comedy Nights with Kapil sure did set a benchmark in the entire history of comedy shows. The concept of the show sure did work wonders including the likes of special characters such as Gutthi (Sunil Grover), Buaji (Upasana Singh), Palak (Kiku Sharda) and Dadiji (Ali Asgar).

However, due to all the controversies that happened between Kapil Sharma and Colors channel, the show ultimately transformed into a different show on a different channel. The Kapil Sharma Show has been a TRP topper time and again, and it has all the right reasons to be called the top comedy shows of current time!

#2. Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza : Even after all the controversies revolving around roast comedy, the show did manage to put to use the slapstick humour and live up to the expectations of the viewers. The celebrity guests that appear on the show is definitely the cherry on the cake!

#3. Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant : The source of humor throughout the show has been the depiction of cultural differences between a humanoid and human beings. Shaan (Raqesh Vashisth Bapat), the protagonist of the show and a gifted scientist creates a robot, a humanoid who he introduces as his wife to the family; Rajni (Ridhima Pandit).

Throughout the story, Shaan keeps on trying his best to explain for Rajni’s weird behaviour, and that is what keeps the comic element alive in the show!

#4. May I come in Madam? : The show sure did start off as an underdog with a not so larger than life cast, but as the story progressed, we got some major ROFL moments amongst all the drama that Saajan (Sandeep Anand) faces at home. Not to forget, all the possible ways by which he tries to woo his good-looking boss, Sanjana (Neha Pendse), are sure worth those 32 teeth laughter!

Which one of these is your favourite? Leave your comments below!
