It has indeed been tumultuous times for actor Mohit Abrol in the past few months where he was in news for his rather ugly breakup with former fiancee, Mansi Srivastava. The duo got engaged to each other in August 2016 and were together for over eight years before breaking up earlier this year.

Post this occurrence, Abrol decided to quit acting and move to his hometown in Delhi. However, after a few months in it, the actor has now decided to change his decision and is all set to make a return with Colors’ on-going show, Vidya. In an interview with Bombay Times, Abrol said that entering a show that already has a lead couple can be challenging as the actors have already developed a bond and are set with each other’s working styles. He added that he, however, knows Namish Taneja as they worked together in Swaragini so he hopes for a smooth sail.

On the phase after the breakup, he mentioned how it was a very difficult time for him and immediately after his split, he went to Dharamsala he and even attended the Vipassana session for four-nine days. Traveling solo and spending time with himself made him realized a lot of things including that he needs to love himself first and nothing comes before self-respect.

He added how his family was very supportive throughout the process and after his breakup, his mother came to stay with him and is still with him. Another thing that kept pushing him is his workout as he kept pushing his limits and he still cries at times but is getting better.

He concluded saying that he has blocked Mansi from all social networking sites and it’s important to not remember the past. And given the industry they work in, one has to be physically and mentally fit in order to get back to work.
